We use certified coders for ASA, CPT, and diagnosis coding.
Every batch is reviewed for concurrency issues prior to billing, which prevents filing overlapping personally performed claims as well as overlapping CRNA or resident services.
Every claim goes through a sophisticated Compliance Filter, which eliminates bundled services (CCI edits) and non-billable procedures, and meets the carriers’ specific requirements for modifiers and other issues. The use of the Compliance Filter allows all charges to be captured for data analysis regardless of their ability to be billed.
The claims are filed electronically when possible, and the results are closely monitored for any rejections.
